I recently bought a new iPod mini. I’ve resisted for so long since I have one of the first Windows based iPods (10GB version). I’ll admit I felt a little cooler than everyone else when I pull out my older iPod. It’s my way of telling people, I knew iPod was a cool thing when you were still in diapers. Oh ok, well maybe it wasn’t that long ago but it is in technological years. 
So I decided to buy myself a new iPod mini because I really want to listen to my iPod while I’m working out. My older model is just too heavy to use it while doing physical activity. The new mini’s are slightly bigger in disk space (6GB instead of 4GB), light, available in stronger colors (meaning more “manly” colors) than just all around cool.

After I installed Wordpress, I didn’t like the default smilies or emoticons that were included. I looked around at some various plugins but it just seemed a little more complicated that it should be so I instead decided to use it as an excuse to learn more about how Wordpress works. In doing so, I got a peek at how some things work and started to edit files and add my own custom changes. Of course this is still just the start and eventually I would like to put this all into a plugin that can be turned off or on but that’s down the road yet.

Came across a website that is quite scary. The website Hartz Victims, documents the vet bills, sickness and even death of pets after their owners bought and used various Hartz products. It’s not as if these products are experimental or were used in some way they were not intended to be. These poor owners bought the product and used it because it was on the shelf of a respectable store. How were they to know that even though such products are under the watchful eye of the EPA as well as various State and Federal regulations, such a product would be allowed to be sold after causing so many deaths and problems. I thought that’s what these regulations, rules, laws and guidelines were suppose to be in place in order to product the citizens of this country. No instead, they keep them on the shelf and keep collecting your money as they send your pet to the grave.

I finally got my photo page running and looking somewhat the way I want. I’ve only got a couple of pictures up there now but now that I have the page working, that will soon be changing. I am using a free service called Flickr that allows you to upload your pictures to their server and allow anyone to view them. I’m using a plugin called Flickr Gallery that takes my photo sets from Flickr and allows them to be displayed on my website.

I decided today I would install WordPress (the application I use for my website) on my local computer, little did I know what evil lurked inside my computer waiting for me. I figured it would be somewhat painless and easier than making a change, save the file, upload to my site, open browser and refresh the site - only to do it all over again to make another change. Then do that about 5,000 times and you can see how painstaking it can get quickly.

Some days I feel like a hamster running in a cage and today would be one of those days. I woke up this morning at 11am! Either I forgot to set the alarm or I turned it off when it went off and never realized it. After having a heart attack, letting work know I overslept and I’m running late, I started to get ready and get into work. Ever since I’ve been trying to play catch up and yet haven’t been able to do so.

Holy crap! As I was on the site about breast lube, I found a page that lists other blogs about pregnancy. I know that there are quite a number of people that want kids. I’d just never really found a list of those that are on the Internet and writing about it on their own sites. As well just how many there are. Finally got off my ass and decided to actually get my website updated and actually put it to use. Like most other geeks I had grandiose visions of grandeur that my website would be great and have so many features that the rest of the world would marvel at it as one of the eighth wonders of the world (not like I can state what the previous seven wonders of the world are but I imagine they all deal with my getting up and getting to work somewhat on time).
